Muhlenburg College

In just four months, Arcon completed a three-story, 12-apartment dormitory at Muhlenburg College. Construction of the dormitory consisted of 42 boxes with brick veneer covering the exterior of the first and second floors and cement board siding with custom aluminum trim covering the third floor. Arcon also completed the site-built roof in nine days. All mechanical phases of the project were completed on-site by Arcon, including a four-stop elevator with shaft. In all, the new dormitory can accommodate 48 beds.

New Canaan Housing Authority

When the New Canaan Housing Authority approved the construction of nine new buildings as part of the Mill Apartments affordable housing project, the Arcon Group Inc. was selected as the modular construction management company. The two-phase, $8 million rebuilding project will create 40 one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable housing units. In all, 72 modular units will make up the project that is on-schedule to be completed January 2011.
